The Project of Vanke Exhibition Center is located at Vanke Residence-Industrialization Exhibition Base, Songshanhu, Dongguan City, which is an overground two-storey steel structure. This building, with many nonstandard curved surfaces, inclined columns and non-orthogonal beams, spreads around the isomeric curved surface, which brings much difficulty to the designing of components. The key point of it is how to guarantee the completeness of this project within the low budget. While, BIM platform's parameterization thought makes the components of structure parameterized, information of buildings integrated, which effectively increase the efficiency of component designing, the efficiency of construction and is beneficial for estimating and controlling cost of construction.
