Project description
The object of the construction is to build a new terminal of intermodal transport (TIT) Lužianky as part of the Nitra strategic industrial park in close proximity to the construction of the Land Rover Jaguar plant. The TJT Lužianky railway line consists of four shipping lines, including reinforced surfaces, and preliminary modification of the tracks intended for the final production of the industrial zone by rail and two handling tracks intended for loading operations related to the unloading and loading of intermodal transport units. The object in question resolves the delivery and assembly of the loading ramp of passenger cars from the front of the train set. Loading ramps allow loading of passenger cars on special floor wagons designed for the transport of passenger cars.
When the project was being prepared, it was assumed that 70% of the cars produced in the plant would be shipped by rail. That means around 700 loaded cars per day using the presented construction.
It is a mobile platform with a top edge of the grate at a height of 4,050mm. The ground plan is ragged. The access to the platform is secured by a ramp consisting of four inclined planes at different angles. Departure from the platform is secured by four folding ramps. These ramps will be turned up to 8 degrees in the up direction and 10 degrees down. There are four ramps with an elevation of 1,356mm beneath the platform. The ramp consists of two planes of which one is inclined. There are folding ramps at the front of the platform. These ramps will be turned up to 8 degrees up and 2 degrees down. Turning of the ramps of the lower and upper bridges is realized by lifting devices with a lifting capacity of 5t. The structure includes two, 800mm wide step, escape gauge mesh-grated stairwells. The steel construction includes ready-to-use illumination devices from the bottom of the ramp as well as illumination of the top of the ramp. The platform and ramps are lined with safety fences and rails.
