Project description
This concerns the new building of "waste to energy facility". The steel structure supports the section of flue gas treatment. This technology makes the filtration of flue gas going clear into the chimney. The supporting steel is created by the columns, beams, angle and tubular bracing. In each floor, there are the gratings and tear plates. At each interface point, it was necessary to coordinate the details of equipment and supporting steel. The ground dimensions are approx. 30x15m and the height 23m. Weight of steel structure 210 tons and S235 and S355 materials were used.
What made the project successful
All related professions were projected in 3D and exchanged 3D data between them. Thanks to this communication, all collisions and spatial links could be detected to prevent possible errors during the actual relaying. The BIM 3D Tekla demonstrates the interdependence of all professions
