Project information:
The project of the school designed for 775 pupils, the bearing steel frame consists of trusses and arches, the monolithic reinforced concrete ceilings on the fixed formwork, the Shukhov hyperboloid, on which the façade panels are made of aluminum sheets, insulation and vapor barrier used as the enclosing structures.
Translucent structures are designed from pillows of construction Teflon, which allowed reducing the weight of enclosing structures, as well as reducing the thermal conductivity and make the building more energy efficient.
This project is the application of large-span structures in everyday life. A unique feature is the use of large-span farmsframes and semi-arches, a span of 68 and 40 m, respectively.
