Project information:
The project developed by two students.
Team split up, so one had engaged in the model in Tekla, and another - exporting and importing the analysis scheme from / to Lira-Sapr by unloading drawings, creating specifications, statements. Volume collected and a calculation circuit carried out in Lira software. Design parameters, designation and verification of sections, calculation of the building. Drawings of plans, cuts, specifications and sheets for the consumption of metal, they also unloaded automatically from the program, which accelerated the work and increased its quality. With the 3D model, the project was tested for collisions.
The project was completely ready in 1 ½ months. Drawing downloads, specifications and statements from the model greatly accelerated the work. Moreover, the export of the analysis scheme to Lira software, even as simple as we realized, played a key role in the timing of the project.
"I got exceptional pleasure working with Tekla, and as I was glad that you do not need to spend time designing drawings you do not know. I do not like it so much, but Tekla saved the day. “I do not understand why everyone would not go to 3D modeling and forget about 2D drawings. This is so convenient! Frankly, Tekla and BIM modeling inspired me to continue to develop in the field of design.Unfortunately, before that, I did not see my future in the construction field.”- One of the authors of the project, Tamirlan Kusainov, shares.
