Quant Robotics has developed a plugin for Tekla Structures which exports the metadata of parts, welds, and weld types, to create a triangulation, and quaternion calculation for the welding torch approach. The data is transmitted to the server, after which all that is left is to lay out the parts near the robots to assemble the assemblies created by the engineers.

Tekla made it possible to use its core as a geometry analyzer and shorten the production work chain. Now the engineer can start assembling and welding the assembly himself and send it to the shop floor for fabrication.
