Steel beam torsion design

This Eurocode torsion design calculation checks the design of single span, simply supported, rolled I and H sections, asymmetric sections, channel sections, rectangular and circular hollow sections subject to major and minor axis moments and shears, together with a torsional UDL and up to four torsional point loads. The support beam can be designed as a stainless steel cold-formed angle, a mild steel angle in simple bending or a flat plate welded to the underside of the torsion beam.
