Quantity Takeoff in Tekla Structures Using a IFC

You can import IFC models as reference models and extract information quickly using the Organizer. Optionally, you can convert the imported IFC objects into Tekla Native objects. You can use imported IFC reference models for clash checking and scheduling as well. This video will show how to: 1. Import an IFC Model as a reference model. 2. Inquire its properties to observe IFC object information. 3. Download Tekla Warehouse content that contains Organizer categories and templates for use with a Revit IFC. 4. Use the organizer to develop reports and perform quantity takeoff directly using the IFC. 5. Export information to Excel.
