A. Individuals and companies do not actually own the software they buy but rather they actually lease the rights to use it. The level of usage depends on the licensing agreements.
Q. We have purchased a licence for our company but can everyone use it?
A. Yes, anyone may use the software within the company and country it was purchased for. It may be installed on multiple computers but the number of users able to work with it at the same time is determined by how many licences your company has purchased.
Q. Can our company office in another country use our purchased licence(s)?
A. Yes, as long as you have purchased an enterprise licence. Using a domestic licence outside of the region it has been registered for use is not permitted.
Q. Can I sell or transfer my Tekla Structures licence?
A. No, without prior written consent from Tekla it is not permitted to sell, loan, or transfer Tekla Structures licences to any other person or company other than whom the software was originally licensed to.

If pirated software is used, the introduction of spyware, viruses, and other malware into your company network is a very real possibility.
