The Coke Treatment Building is an industrial building of 48.0 m height to be built in a steel plant. This building basically involves the crushing of higher sized inputs like (coke) into multiple lower sized outputs. The input is in the form of Coke entering into the building through the higher floors. They are then made to pass through a Screen, placed at the mid level of the building. The screened coke is obtained in three sizes and channeled into their respective conveyors through the installed bunkers. There are three Structural Bunkers in the building namely 1 Bunker each for Nut Coke, Blast Furnace Coke and Coke Breeze with installed capacity of 355, 294 and 355 cum respectively. The output thus obtained through the Bunkers from the Screen is then sent to the Blast Furnace Complex through conveyors from the lower floors of the building.
