SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT

Deadline for entries is June 8, 2019

You can enter more than one project but only one project per category.
This is your only opportunity to “sell” your project to the judges and the public - so make it count!

1.  Collect the project material. The most important part in your project entry is the material package including the Tekla Structures project/model folder. High quality model images, photos and drawings are essential too.

The entry form asks for:
●    A company description
●    A project description
●    The challenges that made the project successful
●    The benefits of using BIM and Tekla software
●    The project in numbers

2.  Fill in the form (link to the form below). You can save the form and come back to it at any time.

3.  The form contains a field where you need to provide a link from where we can collect your project entry data. Use any cloud or file sharing service you feel comfortable with (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive).

Your project entry data should as a minimum contain:

  • A description of the project in at least 500 works
  • Tekla Structures model (.db1) and the environment in which it was created
  • Full Trimble Connect/Tekla BIMsight model (.tbp_ including bolts, reinforcement and reference files (if relevant).
  • We also recommend you to highlight the best parts of your project by saving them as snapshots in the Tekla BIMsight project.
  • High-resolution screenshots of the model, use Tekla Structures built-in screenshot tool to capture a few different whole model and detail images from the project (.PNG or other image formats)
  • Sample drawings of the projects (in PDF format)
  • High-resolution photos or architect visualizations of the project (in any image format)
  • Company logo(s) involved in the project
  • Virtual Tour - click here to access the virtual tour extension should you wish to create navigations in your model.
  • Set the default settings to a 3-second delay, 3-second transition and create no more than 15 snapshots.
  • Save the Virtual Tour file as a .vtr file extension and upload it into the entry form

4.  Submit the form

5.  If you encounter any problems with the submission process, contact tekla.marketing.ae@trimble.com and we will try to help.
