Tekla Structures for Bridge Designers

We highly appreciate the work of bridge modelers and designers; a work which requires a special set of skills and differs them from other engineers. We recognize the importance of creating structures that enable a smooth and safe journey for all the people. Yet, the timelines and budgets get tighter and the pressure for more efficient bridge design is inevitable though the bridge structures are complex with details and shapes. Bridge designers need new digital tools to be able to create BrIM (bridge information modelling) content that meets client requirements. Bridges merge, connect or divide the flow of traffic. Sometimes a bridge is the landmark that resembles a work of art. Often a bridge is a basic structure that serves its purpose, but yet designed with passion. It’s all about the flow of traffic. Tekla Structures manages the flow of information to every data that the bridge designer needs – all kinds of bridges, complex or simple, and all kinds of materials; steel, concrete, timber. The flow of detailed information makes Tekla models truly constructible; less claims, less RFIs and more productive projects. Tekla Structures is already used widely by engineering offices around the world. Now Trimble launches a new extension for the early phase of the bridge design workflow, Bridge Creator, which extends Tekla Structures for bridges. In this free webinar we will make a deep dive into model based design workflow from alignment import to documentation, and show the key benefits of Tekla Structures for bridge designers. We introduce the new Bridge Creator tool, but also the main benefits of Tekla Structures for cast-in-place concrete bridges. In case you may find it challenging to produce accurate 3D models for some road alignments where varying superelevation result in complex bridge decks, then watching this webinar may be just what you need.
