Metal Arts was the steel supplier and worked closely with the GC and steel erector to make this building go up as smoothly as possible. With this building being on a radial grid, there is not a square corner in this building.

Challenges and achievements
The radial grid was a real challenge as we had to do 3 different grids. When columns were inserted almost everyone had to be rotated to match the grid.

Using Tekla software
It was easy to rotate all the columns as they were placed into 3 locations. The best part was using the curved beam macro to do all the rolled HSS, channel and angle. With Trimble Connect, the GC and erector had access to it as to visualize how it was going to fit together.
