Tekla Awards 2019 winners logo

Trimble Solutions (UK) Ltd. is pleased to announce the winners of its annual UK Tekla Awards 2019, following a number of impressive projects entered into all six categories.

The annual Tekla Awards is open to projects of all shapes and sizes, which demonstrate efficient and effective use of Trimble’s Tekla software during the design, modelling and construction process. Entries are then judged on a set criteria to be recognised as the best in their category.

Richard Fletcher, Manager Direct at Trimble Solutions (UK), said: We are delighted to have received a great number of entries from our customers for this year’s Awards, all of which displayed innovative, technical and efficient use of Tekla software to plan, manage and execute their projects successfully.

It has been a difficult task to choose the winners, but our judges were particularly impressed with the level of detail in some of the Tekla models; such as the Dangjin Biomass Power Plant Filter project, winner of the Industrial Project category, which was praised for its complex model and high attention to detail.

It was also great to see some of the projects use software from across our portfolio, demonstrating the benefits of a complete Tekla workflow; such as One Nine Elms, where Solve Structural Design used Trimble Connect in conjunction with Tekla Structures to allow them and their client, Careys Civil Engineering, to view the building model live on site, making it a worthy winner of the Commercial Projects category.

We would like to thank everyone for entering and offer our congratulations to the worthy winners!
