UK Tekla Awards 2022 winners announced
Back for another year, Trimble is delighted to announce the winners of its annual UK Tekla Awards, after an impressive round of entries were received.
The Awards, open to users of Trimble’s Tekla Structures and Tekla Structural Designer software, serve to recognise and celebrate the hard work and achievements of those working within the BIM and construction industry.
With seven categories to enter, in addition to the Public Choice Award which is voted for online, the Awards are open to projects of all shapes, sizes and complexity and showcase structures modelled using Tekla software within the UK and Ireland.

Steve Insley, Business Director at Trimble Solutions, said: Every year, we’re all blown away by the standard of entries received into the Tekla Awards and 2022 has been no different. It always amazes me to see the expertise and innovation possessed by our brilliant customers and how our software has been used to help bring some truly incredible structures and transformational infrastructure to life.
Upon reviewing the entries, our judges were particularly impressed with the complexity of the structures, their connection details and build sequences, as well as the impressive coordination demonstrated with other trades. It’s also great to see customers push our software capabilities to the next level, taking Trimble Connect to site with Trimble’s SX10 and the use of the Grasshopper tool integration.
All 2022 UK Tekla Award winners will be invited to a celebratory activity day in September. The winners will also now be automatically entered into the Tekla Global Awards 2022, with the chance to win a trip for two to Trimble Dimensions in Las Vegas USA.
