Tekla Maintenance

A global service with a local approach

Maintenance from Tekla is a comprehensive package of software updates, support information, materials and people to help you get the most from your software.

Customer Support

Customer support is available in many forms so you can find the information you need quickly and easily for yourself. You can check on Tekla User Assistance where there are 'How to' articles, video tutorials, product guides and more.

You can also ask your fellow Tekla users via the forum to see if they know the answer to your question and you can share your expertise on best practices and techniques with others. Tekla developers also follow and comment on the discussion forum, offering support and feedback.

Tekla offices worldwide have support staff with industry knowledge on hand to help all customers on Maintenance should they encounter technical problems. Here in the UK, we have a support team of over 15 qualified people with in-depth knowledge of all our products including Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds.

How to contact UK support

The best way to contact us is to use the support tool that is built into Tekla software as this collects all the relevant files, data and model information and sends it directly to the support team.

  • Use the support tool in Tekla Structures File > Help > Contact Tekla Support
  • Use the support tool in Tekla Structural Designer File > Help > Contact Support
  • Use the support tool in Tekla Tedds Help > Contact Support
  • Use the support tool in Tekla Tedds for Word Tedds > Help > Support

Alternatively, you can email or call.

Product Updates and Localisation

Localisation teams adapt the software to suit the standards, materials and requirements of the region. However, you can work with any environment regardless of your own geographical location.

With Maintenance, you have access to the most up-to-date version of Tekla Structures. We are a development-orientated company and work together with the industry on development. New versions improve productivity and allow you to achieve more.

All new versions, updates, features and improvements, regional environment installations and service releases are included in Maintenance. You can update your software whenever you like or change back to an older version when a project requires.

Maintenance also includes access to additional tools. Tekla Structures Extensions respond to local and user-specific needs in an agile way.

Tekla Warehouse

Tekla Warehouse is where you will find, import, install and share content both internally and globally. You can create and store company specific custom components or applications content that enables your organisation to work more efficiently with Tekla Structures. There is also a comprehensive library of manufacturer’s parts and tools that others have produced and shared for you to use.

support - titan steel - open door, modelling and drawings - edit

The support and open door policy at Tekla UK is second to none and gave me vital confidence in the early days. The staff can't do enough to help. I honestly believe that if I had not invested in Tekla I would not have had the success I have enjoyed.

support - the drawing office - quick uptake, good support

Having previously used other 3D modelling systems, within three months we were proficient users of the Tekla BIM software. On the occasions we need to contact Tekla for support, the staff are always able to help directly with our query or provide a solution very quickly.
