Senior Tekla Draughtsman (salary dependant on experience)
This role requires a minimum of 5+ years experience using Tekla Structures. Ideally the candidate will have experience in running projects and able to work with minimal supervision and is able to pick the project up from point of order through to issuing of fabrication package to the workshop. The role will involve attending design team meetings, raising RFI’s, resolving details with other disciplines to enable issuing of G.A.’s, fabrication drawings, material lists and erection packages. Tekla Draughtsman (salary dependant on experience)
This role require a minimum of 3 years experience using Tekla Structures. Under the supervision of the Drawing Office manage the candidate should have the ability construct a 3D model working from engineer/architects drawings to enable issuing of G.A.’s, fabrication drawings, material lists and erection packages.

LEAD DRAUGHTSMAN
Ideally 5+ years’ experience using Tekla and a proven record within the industry (the relevant weighting of these factors will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis). Experience running projects is preferable but not essential and a demonstrated history of dealing directly with other disciplines would likely suffice if an individual is looking to progress into the role. Reporting directly to the DO Manager, duties would include dealing directly with clients’ Project Managers, fabrication queries, liaising with connection designers, identifying and raising TQs, monitoring programme and the administration associated with variations. Input on estimates may also be sought but devoid of onus.

SENIOR DRAUGHTSMAN
Minimum 3 years’ experience using Tekla and a proven record within the industry. Your work should be accurate and well presented. It is expected that a candidate would be proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings as well as connection calculations. Working for and reporting to a Lead Draughtsman, the candidate would be expected to work well with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.

DRAUGHTSMAN
Minimum 2 years’ experience using Tekla. The applicant will have demonstrable job knowledge of detailing steel structures and be able to produce clear and accurate detail drawings. The precise nature of any experience isn’t of paramount importance as the company will work with you to progress your knowledge and ability.

  • To carry all reasonable requests from the Drawings Office Manager or Technical Manager.

The successful candidate will be;

  • An experienced steel draughtsperson with good understanding of interface between steel frame and other following trades.
  • Experience of Tekla Structures.
  • A Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Be IT literate.
