The geometry of this structure was very complex with welded bracketry set out and different rotations and plains to take an EFTE roof and rolled polycarbonate side panels. We also have hydraulic gullwing vents and entrance doors to the building.
What were the challenges and what made the project successful?
The challenges were to ensure the setting out of the bracketry and connections were within +/- 10mm and set and different rotations and plains to take an ETFE roof.
We used Trimble Hololens technology for setting out and checking welded assemblies in our Factory.
