The new tool set is not based on any particular formwork system, but all ready-made system formwork components available for Tekla Structures can be used: The tool can be matched to and used with any formwork inventory a contractor has. Formwork components already available in Tekla Warehouse can be downloaded and taken in to use with the new Formwork Placing Tool set.

Together with the new Formwork Placing tool, utilizing the pour and concrete geometry in Tekla models makes placing of various formwork system elements like wall panels, formwork corners, ties, clamps, fillers, shoring and pouring platforms faster and more flexible and user friendly than before.

The new dynamic preview means what you see is exactly what you get when planning placements for different components, and modifying the plan and making the inevitable changes is simple. Parametric customizable corners adapt automatically according to the wall thickness, angle and type of the corner. Formwork ties and clamps can be added automatically, while adjusting and modifying the individual components and groups is flexible and interactive.
