Building Information Modelling (BIM) and the Structural Engineer - Ireland

This interactive half day event will explore the Structural Engineer’s role in building information modelling. By cutting through the complexity surrounding building information modelling, the event will focus on the aspects most relevant to Structural Engineers. In particular the importance of providing the right level of detail at the right time in the design and construction process.

During the morning we will also look at science behind the leading analysis and design software and show how it can interpret complex physical models and support the creation of the design and analytical model from the physical model.

The event will also demonstrate how easy it is to move design models between software programs which then enable Structural Engineers to provide much more detailed designs including detailed connections, embeds, general assemblies, automated bending schedules and more.

Throughout the event there will be presentations, software demonstrations, and opportunity for Q&A and to talk one to one with the experts from Trimble. Register now for this free event, in association with the Institution of Structural Engineers.

Join us to see how Tekla Structures can optimise projects, making your business more efficient.
