This is an individual project done by students of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand. The house is a reinforced concrete structure with two storeys. The Hip and gable-style roof is made of steel.
This model was built using Tekla Structures 21.0. The program SketchUp was also used in the process.
Many families in Thailand are big families, hence most Thai houses tend to be spacious. The strength and architecture of this building were placed with the most importance during modeling of this project. All in all, it was an interesting and fruitful challenge to do this project.
