Precast concrete hollowcore slab design (EN1992)

This video demonstrates the Tekla Tedds Precast concrete hollowcore slab design calculation to the Eurocode. The calculation checks the design of a precast concrete Hollowcore slab for a simply supported, single span Hollowcore slab under uniform area loads. Checks for flexure, shear, splitting and deflection are included. The calculation uses the methodology set out by British Precast, in accordance with EN1992, EN1168 and the national annex for the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, Finland, Norway, Sweden or the recommended Eurocode values.
