Base plate enhancements (Eurocode)

Enhancements in Base Plate Design (Eurocode). Tekla Structural Designer now includes design checks for minor shear checks and uplift. This enhancement allows the design to be performed directly within Tekla Structural Designer and avoids the need to export to another program. Minor and biaxial shear is now a valid design condition in the Shear and Weld design checks. Uplift (axial tension) is now a valid design condition in the design checks. Permits EC base plate design for columns with major and/or minor shear force e.g. columns braced on the minor axis. Permits EC base plate design for columns with uplift force e.g. columns in portal frames and other low rise structures under horizontal loading.
