Exclusive interview with Mr. Paul Wallett – Regional Director, Middle East & India, Trimble Buildings, in Business Review Middle East

Providing world-class software solutions, Trimble continually support the delivery of leading projects, and Middle East & India Trimble Buildings Regional Director Paul Wallett discusses how the company is delivering integrated solutions to construction companies worldwide, cementing its growth across a number of markets. 

With strong partnerships, Trimble heavily invests in key software and hardware solutions in areas such as BIM, mechanical electrical design and robotic total station layout, contracts management, amongst a number of different segments. “Our newest collaboration platforms are Trimble Connect and ProjectSight as a field and project management mobile application tool, unifying the field and office together on a single source platform,” comments Wallett.

The dominance of cloud technologies and BIM software has also influenced Trimble’s operations, with the implementation of Microsoft HoloLens and Trimble Connect, which support the company’s strive for increased collaboration and coordination within projects, and allows for personalization within construction and design works. 

“3D printing is also something that’s beginning to become more commonplace now,” explains Wallett says. “From an industry perspective, Trimble is a member of BuildingSMART alliance helping to develop industry standards in support of Building Information Modelling.”
