Tekla appoints AF Infotech as its Centre of Excellence in Ranchi, Jharkhand

India, Mumbai, 18 August 2015: Tekla has appointed AF Infotech as one of its Centres of Excellence in India for their Tekla Structures software. The main objective of this initiative is to educate technology students and ensure that the future engineers are well equipped with Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills that the growing Indian industry employers value.

The institute will impart special certification course on Tekla BIM technology in their curriculum. The course will make the students industry ready with modeling skills. On the other hand, this education boosts the adoption of BIM within Indian construction industry.

Tekla will assist AF Infotech to setup a technology lab in the center, which will allow their students to learn Tekla Structures for structural and civil engineering. Tekla in India will also conduct training sessions at AF Infotech to enable the industry people and students to explore Tekla’s technology. Additionally, refresher seminars will keep them regularly updated on new advancements.
