Coffee lounge, space to remind the history of the building, club, view terrace. This all is included in the superstructure of “Blast furnace no. 1.” (“Vysoké pece č. 1”) in Ostrava – Vítkovice.
The blast furnace had been one of the tallest constructions in the area. After this reconstruction made last year, it is even 25 meters taller and became the highest geographical point of Ostrava. Now, the tower is truly dominating the proud industrial city.
The glass cylinder shaped superstructure will serve as an observation tower with multifunctional spaces. You can follow guided tours through the core of the former blast furnace in the height of 55m, have a coffee in 62 meters, visit a club in 66 meters and finally observe the city and mountains around from the view terrace positioned on the roof of 71 meters tall construction.
