The works included the renovation and the seismic improvement of a seventeenth-century building characterized by planimetric and altimetric irregularities. The IFC model exported by Archicad has been imported into Tekla Structures.
Here, all objects have been converted to native BIM authoring software to give maximum modeling freedom and start the design phase with new interventions.Â
The latter include:
- The creation of a new elevator compartment inside the building.
- An attic anti-seismic concrete lightened with clay.Â
- Expanded steel rods and caps to stabilize load-bearing walls.Â
- Curbs of cover.
- The housing of the new laminated wood roof.
- An outdoor heated pool.

Thanks to Tekla Structures, we produced extremely clear and constructive designs that helped our work and also helped operators in the construction process.
