New Marina is an extensive complex located on the site of the existing Sailing Club buildings. Modern clubs, hangars, sailing and water sports facilities have been designed here. The designed facility consists of 8 parts separated by dilatation. Four storeys and an underground garage have been planned. In the above-ground part, the facility will accommodate 10 restaurants, offices, shops, service points, spa and a hotel with 200 rooms. The building was designed in monolithic technology. The main vertical structures are reinforced concrete columns and walls. Slabs were designed as a type of reinforced concrete monolithic filigree based on columns, walls and shields. In case of large spans and loads, prestressed concrete slabs are used. The facility was laid on a foundation plate based on SDP piles. In order to avoid the emergence of a depression hopper outside the investment boundary, sealing walls are planned. A three- dimensional model was used for the project, and 4 parts of the whole building were modeled together with foundation plate and piles.
What made the project successful
The use of BIM technology with Tekla Structures has enabled accurate insertion of complex geometry and avoidance of errors caused by collision of reinforcing bars in construction nodes.
