New futuristic distribution center for Rhenus Logistics Developer and investor DOKVAST, based in Oisterwijk, realizes a new distribution center, named New Logic III, on the “Het Laar” business park in Tilburg along highway A58. With an elliptical roof and a circular-shaped cross section. A real eye-catcher!
DC New Logic III is 60,400 m2 ,includes a 40,000 m2 warehouse, 3,400 m2 offices and 17,000 m2 Value Added Logistics (VAL,), and can be expanded with another 15,000 m2 VAL. For the realization of this sustainable distribution center, sustainable materials, automatic dimming LED lighting, triple insulation glass, extra insulation on the roof and a heat pump have been used.
All disciplines of the different companies are adjusted to one another during weekly BIM sessions. Our client Heembouw Breda, architect Habeon, the structural engineer, installers, and the supplier of doors and windows etc. were present at these meetings. The end result is a well-thought-out structure, with hardly any failure costs.
