The developer made the MB Column app with a user-friendly interface to help generate steel columns quickly and easily and to allow efficient dimension control.
Users can create columns with a precise direction by selecting two points rather than using a rotation command or changing the workplane. Plates and secondary plates with parametric dimensions can be created without indicating the bottom level of the column, as the app can detect it automatically.
Moreover, users can create foundations attached to the bottom of the plate, easily make holes in the plate and handle many types of anchors, which can be changed with one click with the possibility of restoring the old parameter. Many types of stiffeners can be handled, which will automatically adjust to column dimensions and direction.
MB Column prevents draftsman errors such as distance or clash between elements and reduces manual modeling time to give supervisors an efficient method of verifying elements.
