Les Boulingrins is an architectural ensemble consisting of five temporary pavilions whose free-form shape is reminiscent of boulders resting on the sand. The artifacts occupy a surface area ranging between 220 square meters and 600 square meters and have a maximum height of 10 m. They are located next to the Monte-Carlo Casino in order to temporarily accommodate twenty luxury shops during the construction of the new "Sporting d'Hiver building." The 3D BIM modeling was carried out through a strong interoperability software based on the use of Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to achieve a geometric optimization and rationalization and the consequent use of Tekla Structures for the phase of steel detailing and shop drawings. The biunique communication between the mentioned software allowed the respect of the architectural idea and the control of the production phase and assembly stage.
