The project regarding the metallic stairs in the Camacol building is part of a structural upgrading project on a building that has 40 years since its construction and that still holds an architectural relevance for the city of Medellín.
An important colombian company has its headquarters located in such building, but due to its age, the building doesn’t have the required elements for its use such as the emergency evacuation stairs. Because of this, it is necessary to propose a new alternative for such element that will be installed in the façade of the edification.
