To improve the transportation system in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. In April 2010 the government of Taiwan programmed the public viaduct-construction project, named Danjiang Bridge. The length of the bridge is 12.08km, the main bridge part is 920m, connecting Interchange in both sides with the width of the road of the bridge is between 44 to 71m and the height of the tower is 200m.
The designer of main bridge part is Zaha Hadid, a brilliant well-known Iraqi-British architect. The bridge is expected to be the longest single-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world. However, since the bridge tower is designed in three dimension gradually varied section, so it is considered quite a challenge to complete the BIM and constructing which make it one of the most difficult projects that no one has ever done.
