The structure is located in the South Bohemia region on the section of the D3 highway, which connects TÅ™ebonÃn with Kaplice.
The bridge is designed as a monolithic prestressed structure with  five spans. The total length of the bridge is 135.5 meters. The spans of the individual bridge sections are 20.0 + 28.0 + 28.0 + 28.0 + 20.0 meters with total bridge length of 122,3 m. Each direction of the highway is carried on a separate bridge structure. The width of one bridge is 14.45 m with the total  width of both structures 29.1 m.
The bridge is founded on piles. Each pier is made of two pillars connected to the supporting structure by a joint. The bridge is supported on bearings at the abutments.
The main focus of the entire project is the workflow used to create all the necessary drawings and facilitate design. The bridge was created using a combination of Rhino  and Grasshopper and Tekla Structures software. The bridge structure was parametrically defined using Grasshopper. The reinforcement of individual structural elements was created using a combination of Grasshopper + Tekla Structures. The reinforcements are parametrically linked to the structure, and the reinforcement model, including the drawings, is generated in the Tekla Structures program.
