PROJECT

Eversendai Engineering L.L.C, UAE was awarded Approx. 250 metric tons of Structural Steelworks of Majlis Villa Project in Dubai, UAE.

This is design and built project for Eversendai, whose scope includes Detailed design, Connection Design, Shop Drawings, BIM Coordination, Erection Engineering Study & Stage Analysis, Workshop Fabrication Drawings, Supply, Fabrication, Painting, Fire Proofing, Composite Floor Decking, and Erection of Structural Steel Works. All the above scope of works was completely taken care of by in-house Design & Engineering Department of Eversendai and successfully completed in line with project schedules. 

The Project Clients are Al Shafar, Dubai. Structural Design & Built by Eversendai. Architect of Majlis villa is Al Asri Engineering Consultant - Dubai.

CHALLENGE AND SUCCESS

The Majlis villa is a G+2 story Residential building of Area 50 X 70m, located in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC), Dubai. The project consists of G+2 story containing over an area of 3500 m². 

Considering the complex geometry nature and precise setout requirements at various stages of construction the TEKLA steel structures modeling played a vital role in the successful completion of this project. Tekla BIM Sight was used extensively to identify the clashes with other trades like Roofing Contractor, Façade Contractor, MEP Contractor, and RCC Contractor and these clashes were resolved in the design stage itself. 

The unique complex steel erection coordination requirements make this project as one of the challenging projects for Eversendai. As always with Eversendai, this project was also successfully modeled & coordinated with all other trades, fabrication drawings were released, fabricated and Erected in line with the project schedule.
