Tekla Malaysia User Day 2016

April 19 (Tue) at Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya

Join us at Tekla User Day 2016, an annual event where new and improved BIM software Tekla Structures 2016 as well as Analysis & Design solutions - Tekla Structural Designer 2016 and Tekla Tedds 2016, will be presented!  Not only will new features and key benefits of Tekla solutions be introduced, our Keynote speaker will share the latest industry trends and best practices with you. It is a day you won't want to miss where we discuss the Evolution of Construction (#EvolutionofConstruction) and how the industry is transforming.

Evolution of Construction

The construction industry is changing…. the massive urbanization, the need of a more sustainable economy and by an increasing complexity and size of projects. Mainly driven by state-of-the-art technology, Trimble is shaping the construction industry, from innovative methodologies to processes that are boosting productivity and enhancing efficiency.

Trimble’s mix of hardware, software and mobility technologies streamlines communication and collaboration throughout the construction lifecycle, from planning, design and site preparation through to the finished project. Our solutions improve workflows between key stakeholders—wherever they are located—and make it easier to track time, costs, materials, staff and resources.

Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) employs BIM technology to design and plan out the workflow from manufacturing of parts in factory, to transporting to site for safe assembly. This brings productivity and efficiencies to construction, not only saving human resources, time, and cost, it also reduces waste in raw materials. The industry will likely achieve the stipulated ambitious growth targets set out in Construction 2020, if broad take-up of DfMA is attained.

Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) is the management of integrated multi-disciplinary performance models of design-construction projects, including the product (i.e., facilities) and work processes What this means is that builders and designers can model, coordinate, estimate, plan and then virtually build a project before breaking ground. Essentially, VDC greatly improves collaboration, project transparency, leading to time and cost savings.

In Trimble, there are many technologies that hold great potential for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Come witness the technologies that fuse the future of construction!
