Director, Global Revenue Marketing

We are looking for a Director, Global Revenue Marketing to join our Sales and Marketing team in Espoo, Finland

As Director, Global Revenue Marketing you will lead all facets of the revenue generating marketing activities including the Digital Customer Journey, demand generation, partner marketing, marketing operations and inbound marketing activities. 

You will be responsible for designing and implementing our digital marketing strategies and supporting the Structures Division subscription business model. You will own the entire divisional subscriber journey from awareness to purchase to loyalty.
You will pivot the current demand marketing strategies from a predominantly outbound strategy to a predominantly inbound content focused strategy, implementing programs and policies that harness marketing automation to drive up inbound lead generation, leading to measurable and significant increase in MI’s and MQL/SQL conversion. You will be responsible for introducing and promoting self-sufficient product evaluations to the subscriber journey that, over time, will support ecommerce operations.
You will design and implement an automated retention and advocacy marketing program that delivers continuous value to existing and new subscribers. Over-time this will incorporate account based marketing strategies to support divisional key accounts and Trimble level major and strategic accounts. 

Working alongside the Global Marketing Director responsible for brand, PR, cross portfolio opportunities and structures DX participation, you will jointly manage an annual direct marketing budget including co-ordination of additional regional budgets. Together, you will help lead cultural and organisational change with our regional field marketing teams with the overall aim of progressing virtual transformation, bringing together expertise in local marketing teams to provide synergy for the Structures Division globally.  

The role will be heavily metrics focussed and you will put in place accurate reporting metrics at global and local levels with the end result of demonstrating progressive and significant marketing revenue value creation leading to enhanced reach, increased budgets and rapid delivery of subscription results. 

Your key tasks will be to

  • Design & Implement digital marketing strategies supporting all aspects of revenue generation
  • Pivot from outbound marketing to inbound digital content-focused strategies
  • Work with Senior Managers at departmental and team level to deliver high-impact tactical campaigns and operational excellence
  • Implement measurable marketing metrics at global and local levels
  • Drive marketing performance supporting significant revenue generation

We expect you to have 

  • Demonstrable success in driving digital marketing strategies in subscription software businesses
  • At least 5 years relevant experience of leading progressive marketing teams 
  • Outstanding digital marketing operational experience
  • Flair for understanding and communicating customer value 
  • Demonstrable experience of working with international teams
  • Understanding of Tekla and Trimble customer journey
  • Effective organisational and strategic leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to excel in a matrixed environment
  • Extremely fluent English language skills both in written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel as needed
