Drawings and reports

Click to see the image in full size Drawings and reports are the major means of communication between the designer and the contractor as to what, where, and how the proposed project is to be constructed. Drawings should therefore be clear, accurate and easy to read, and they should contain all the necessary information.

Tekla Structures software includes a centralized database which ensures that all General Arrangement (GA) drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) created during the project are associated with the model. When changes occur, drawings and reports are automatically updated.

Due to the highly efficient data structure of Tekla Structures, the model is not compromised when updates are made.

  • Tekla Structures recognizes change and automatically adjusts the relevant connections and output.
  • Drawings and documentation are accurate and reflect the current status of the project.
  • Users control the content and style of drawings.
