theatre and concert hall
with a link bridge
between them. The
building is curved with
the front of the roof
forming part of a torus.
The rear is made up of
radial trusses that step
at each radial grid
line.

Job: Central feature, Goodwood Festival of Speed
2008.
This structure was sponsored by Land Rover to celebrate
their 60th Anniversary. It was built in layers of welded
frames and then single rakers between the frames. The
unpainted finish was required to give it a rugged, rock like
texture. The structure featured five Land Rovers – one of
each model. After the 3 day show it will be dismantled.

Job: Travelodge Hotel, Heathrow. UK
This is a dedicated steel superstructure for a Travelodge Hotel. The structure will accommodate a variety of fully fitted out modular containers comprising of double and single hotel rooms. It is designed to take into account the loadings and unique connection system of the modules. |
