Tekla solutions produce a single product model, containing the engineering, detailing and fabrication information for various building materials. The detailer and engineer share the same intelligent model. When changes do occur, Tekla solutions automatically update the detailed elements.

Tekla Xpipe is an integrated network information system that gives water and sewer installations a cost-effective tool for asset and resource management. The system gives water installations a strategic competitive edge by combining the functions and information related to network ownership, management, maintenance, and network information distribution.

With the application, you can manage the entire life cycle of the network: from investments to mapping, and from maintenance to renovation. In addition to the existing network, you can manage the network as it is being planned and the operations in the network. Tekla Xpipe is a genuine database application for multiple users.

This unique type of municipal information management is based on the Infrastructure Resource Management concept, developed by Tekla - a next generation concept which effectively combines spatial, population and infrastructure data into one database. The creation of this “community model” enables the development of improved applications for core functions, as well as more versatile information services catering to the differing needs of a broad user base.

Flexibility is fundamental to Tekla Infrastructure Resource Management applications, both in terms of functionality and the variety of terminal types through which the application can be accessed, such as desktop PCs, the web, WAP platforms as well as mobile phones and other devices.
