The Tekla Xpower Construction Project Planning (CPP) application supports network planning by allowing the user to create a network construction plan, including material and work costs. CPP can be used to:
- Turn the plans for the new network into a fully defined construction project. As needed, a large project can be divided into multiple sub-projects. The smaller sub-projects are easier to manage and can be treated as separate assignments.
- Create preliminary budgets that include the tasks and materials needed for the project, and their estimated expenses.
- The preliminary budgets can be used, for example, in preparing calls for tenders.
- Create actual budgets that include the detailed workload, expense and material calculations.
- CPP contains price lists that allow you to calculate the precise expenses of the project. You can also use the price lists to compare the prices of different suppliers.
- Allocate tasks and materials to different geographical construction locations.
CPP can be integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or SAP systems to further ease the management of project materials and work resources.
