The relevant information is produced and updated during practically all work processes – from documenting new network parts to making entries related to outages, leakages and maintenance measures.
To ease the maintenance planning further, Tekla Xpower contains functionality for determining a maintenance index for the network objects. The maintenance index prioritizes the different maintenance needs of the network and can be used to define specific and appropriately timed inspection and maintenance programs. For each network object type, the utility determines when it must be repaired or replaced based on its material, age, usage and condition. Since the database contains these details for each individual object, a maintenance index can be calculated for any part of the network from individual objects to the entire network.
