The purpose of the Tekla quality management system is to support Tekla’s and its personnel's activities to reach common quality objectives.
The quality objectives are:
- high customer satisfaction
- high personnel satisfaction
- cost efficiency
To reach these objectives, Tekla has a certified ISO 9001 quality management system to support software development and sales activities. The certified quality system was introduced at Tekla in 1995.
The Tekla quality management system and other quality management methods are seamlessly connected to the quality management process. Quality management consists of four elements:
- quality planning
- quality assurance
- quality control
- quality improvement
Quality management is a continuous activity that has allocated resources. In addition, each new employee is introduced to the quality system when joining the company.
Internal and external quality audits, which are targeted at different functions at Tekla, are an essential part of quality management and development.
