Over 540 participants attended Tekla I&E Finnish user days
The user days of Tekla’s Infra & Energy business area is one of the biggest expert seminars of the year in Finland for energy utilities, municipalities, water and wastewater utilities and civil engineering companies. The seminar took place in Turku on Wednesday, January 27 and Thursday, January 28, 2010.
This year, the event was hosted by the city of Turku. Over 540 customers and other invited guests of Tekla Infra & Energy participated in the event.
The theme for the 2010 user days was openness. In the modern society, there has been a shift from closed systems to solutions and e-services which contribute to open communication between public administration and companies and their customers. Tekla offers to its customers solutions which improve and facilitate this openness. An important aspect of developing these services and solutions is openness between Tekla and its customers, openness in Tekla’s customers’ customer service and the openness and integratability of Tekla’s solutions’ to other systems.
Besides lectures, the event also offered various additional activities, active networking and professional excursions in Turku. The event was opened by the Deputy Mayor for Environmental Affairs of the city of Turku, Mr. Jarkko Virtanen and President and CEO of Tekla Corporation, Mr. Ari Kohonen.
