Tekla Corporation has acquired 20% of the business of its Netherlands-based reseller Construsoft Groep BV. Along with the acquisition, Tekla and Construsoft aim to strengthen their cooperation and stabilize the relationship between the two international companies.
The acquisition was signed May 3, 2010. Construsoft Groep BV has been a reseller of Tekla software products for 15 years in several countries. Tekla acquired a fifth of their business in order to strengthen the cooperation between the companies for mutual benefits.
90% of Construsoft's revenue comes from representing Tekla software products. In the future, the companies plan to establish an even closer cooperation in product development.
