The 140 Tekla Users is double the amount that we had just two years ago when 60 Users showed up in Lonawala.
The event began with the ever popular Tekla Welcome by Ajit Mohite, Director of Tekla followed by the keynote speaker,
Mr Jayanta Saha, Mr S. Arul Jayachandran, Mr. S.R.Sarvade, Dr Abhay Gupta and users attendees gained an understanding
of the effort going into the National BIM Standard as well as sound strategies to participate in model-exchange based projects.
The next morning started early for some with a welcome speeches and few more keynote speakers.Friday was filled with
more Breakout Sessions and a wrap-up General Session. During the Wrap-Up session the winners of the User Meeting
Model Competition were announced. Cistron Infotek Pvt Ltd - Central Heating Plant For the University Of
Massachusetts, Sieghart Engineers & Steel Detailers Private Limited - Dubai Metro Station,
Eversendai Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd - Dubai Mall - STARROOF. The price for Model Competition was Dell
Laptops. There was also lucky draw for participation and the price for this was Sony Digital Camera and with. Cocktail
Hour on Friday evening as well.
