By using Tekla Structures software, engineering offices, detailers, and contractors can create and share building information in an 'as-built’ 3D model regardless of material. Tekla Structures integrates reinforcement information with building materials and follows the entire project from design through to construction.
Visual coordination
The Tekla model visualises congested areas to prevent collisions and visually coordinates between building systems, allowing smooth real-time collaboration, information sharing and transfer between project disciplines.
Accurate detailing
Tekla Structures enables detailing reinforced/cast in-situ concrete with high accuracy without losing in modelling speed or getting in trouble with large file size. All necessary drawings can be output from the model in Tekla Structures.
Integration to CNC
Just like in steel and precast detailing, Tekla Stuctures integrates reinforcing bar bending with CNC machinery through file formats such as BVBS and Celsa.
Detailers can create construction level reinforcing information and analyse it with other design disciplines. The platform is interoperable through the Tekla Open API™ programming interface.
